This article is intended as a companion article to other articles. It describes the installation and usage of Xming. Straightforward enough just following the pictorial instructions and you should get Xming up and running quite easily.
Installing Xming
Download Xming and Xming Fonts from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/xming/files/
Double Click Xming-6-9-0-31-setup.exe to commence Installation and follow the pictorial set up instructions below:
Double Click Xming-fonts-7-5-0-22-setup.exe to begin fonts Installation. You probably do not need the fonts but it's better that you have it and not need it than need it and not have it, probably.
Launching Xming
Find the XLaunch program Icon and Double Click to Get it Started
Once that is done you should have a little Xming Icon in your system Tray confirming that Xming is awaiting it's first connection.
